Island Academy of Roatan was founded in 2013 by a group of parents who shared a vision for creating better educational opportunities and brighter futures for their children. What began as a shared dream has grown into a thriving K–12 school community of more than 140 students and a commitment to providing the highest quality education in Roatan.
Over the years, we have developed a wide range of academic programs, extracurricular activities, and opportunities designed to encourage curiosity, creativity, and personal growth. At IAOR, we believe education is about more than academics alone. We are dedicated to nurturing the whole child by supporting their social, emotional, and interpersonal development. Our goal is to create an environment where every student feels valued, and inspired to become the very best version of themselves.
